Confirm the required pressure configuration and site conditions when ordering. Motor speed is a specification reference, not a stated VSD speed range; compare noise levels under equivalent measurement conditions.

03   Check the fit for your site

Pressure and demand: For a growing workshop or production line with several air users, provide average and peak consumption, working hours and pressure losses to the point of use. Use 7.1 m³/min for the 0.8 MPa duty point.

Electrical and cooling provision: Check the 37 kW motor and 380 V / 3-phase / 50 Hz supply with the installation team. The centrifugal fan system requires an unobstructed cooling-air inlet and a suitable hot-air discharge route.

Handling and connections: Plan for the 1676 × 1226 × 1610 mm cabinet, 1070 kg unit weight and G1½ connection. Obtain the installation drawing and allow the required service and ventilation clearances.

What airflow does the LGGPM-50 provide at different pressures?

Air delivery is 7.2 m³/min at 0.7 MPa, 7.1 m³/min at 0.8 MPa, 6.3 m³/min at 1.0 MPa and 5.4 m³/min at 1.2 MPa. Specify the pressure required by the application when selecting the configuration.

What cooling arrangement does this 37 kW model use?

The LGGPM-50 is air-cooled and uses variable-speed centrifugal fans. A process cooling-water circuit is not required for this version; adequate cooling-air supply and hot-air discharge remain essential.

Can this model replace a smaller compressor on existing pipework?

Check the required airflow at the same pressure, connection size, electrical capacity and the ratings of the receiver, dryer and filters. Existing pipework should be assessed for pressure loss at the new flow rate.

Is the motor-speed figure a VSD operating range?

The motor-speed specification is 3000 rpm. It is a single reference figure, not the minimum-to-maximum operating range of the variable-speed drive. Request the operating limits for the selected configuration when needed.
